Christmas lightsThe lights around the pilars of Horizon Place are not lit. I also think that it should be considered to add to the tree lights down the center divide to Horizon Place, we are part of the association, too, the neighborhood doesn't end at Hubble.

Dead lawns in the common areasThe residents of Winfield pay an association fee to have the common areas cared for and to keep our neighborhoods beautiful. The areas throughout the neigborhoods are dead and as of May 1, 2012 and the water has yet to be turned on. If residents do not care for their individual properties, they are fined, yet the association does not care for teh common areas and there is no recourse for the residents who pay for this service. I have begun to hand water the common area in front of my residence. I will be requesting that the assosciation reimburse me for my water and time for doing work that is not my responsibility. I encourage all residents to do teh same and call AMI at 626-7333 to voice their concern. Property valies have been hit hard enough without a management company that is clearly in violation of the community rules and regulations.

SignsWhy are we spending so much money/effort on putting signs up around the area? I personally believe the signs detract from the beauty of the landscaping and if someone is really that concerned about dogs or anything else then maybe you should move to the middle of nowhere. I do not have a dog and I do not care if someone's dog poops or is off a leash. Let us live is all I am saying and spend the time and money on beautifying the neighborhood.

Garage Sales & HOA Ph #When are the two scheduled garage sales in Wingfield Springs? Also, what is the phone number to the Wingfield Springs HOA so we can call with simple questions such as this?
Thank you. -
Pond in yard?I'm fixing my landscaping in my front yard, and I can't find in the rules that small water gardens are not allowed in front yards, my my question is... Are they? I don't want to go through all the trouble and money of installing one, if I'll have to remove it or get fined. Thanks

What happened to Pelican Park?According to the City of Sparks and the signs posted at the park, it is the HOA's responsibility to maintain Pelican Park. So why is the grass dead, weeds overgrown, broken playground equipment, etc.? About three weeks ago I noticed the sprinklers running for hours and the entire lawn area was flooded. Today the grass is brown as if the sprinkers were turned off for repair and forgotten. The outskirts of the walkways plant area's are taken over by weeds and there are weeds growing in the playground area. The park is a disgrace to the beautiful neighborhood we live in!

Grass strips on CaymusThere are several areas on Caymus Drive where the grass strips are not being watered. It is not only unsightly, but we could also lose some trees. Does our landscaper service these sprinklers?

Breaking InA couple of years ago my house was burglarized by two white men in their 40's Driving a black unmarked chevy? GMC? truck with tinted windows and a crew cab on the back and chrome wheels. I saw the same two men in the same black truck approach my house yesterday. They did not break in this time, they just rang the door bell and left. I saw one of the men wearing blue jeans, work boots and black t-shirt. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND DOORS LOCKED!

Dying of side-walk side grassAreas of the side walk-side grass within the Copper Hills subdivison are dying. It appears as if some sections are being watered and some are not. I have not seen the water in front of my home on Dodge Dr. come on since the original testing of the sprinkler system roughly one month ago. Please rectify this issue. Thank you.

Red Hawk SecurityTonight I noticed a group of adolescents walking through the streets and looking through people's windows. Needless to say, this struck me as extremely suspicious. Knowing Sparks PD is at least a ten minute drive away, I wanted to call Red Hawk/Wingfield Springs Security to quickly come and assess the situation. I mean, this is the reason they are constantly patrolling right? Unfortunately, the phone number for this service is not listed in any information directory. I tried Red Hawk's main number, but of course all services are closed after-hours. I found your website, hoping this urgent information would be readily available. On your website, you have a local phone number page... yet this vital phone number is shockingly absent. (Though a Recipe Exchange and advertising information is prominently displayed.. Really?). Please communicate this phone number to those who might actually utilize it. With the recent crimes that have been committed in the area, it might be helpful to have the resources necessary to be proactive against those who wish to cause our community harm. We do still have a 'Neighborhood Watch' right? Am I missing something?
